Today I want you to meet Gabe. Spontaneous, outgoing and funny are the words that come to mind when I think about this young man. He was up for anything during his session which totally makes my job a breeze. I also have to add Gabe has the most mesmerizing eyes!

Gabe is a senior at Orchard Farm and is looking forward to his senior year. We chatted about Covid and how he was preparing for school with it. His district had the option to return to school five days a week or do a virtual option. Gabe opted to go back in person. It’s crazy how different this school year is going to look. Hopefully he will get to experience all the fun things that being a senior is all about.

Gabe wanted a park session for his pictures and wanted to go somewhere where other kids from his district typically don’t go. I think we found the perfect place. It was gorgeous and we were the only ones there so we were able to socially distance with no issues. Oh the social distancing…

So Gabe loves Zebra Cakes. His mom was originally going to bring a box for the session since he does love them that much. Unfortunately she ran out of time and was unable to get them for the session. They were going to stop on the way home and grab him a box because all the talk of zebra cakes at the session gave him a hankering for one. I can’t even remember the last time I had a zebra cake but Gabe let me know that he never shares them! Which is good cause this girl needs to watch her figure!

I asked Gabe if he had any advice to offer others who were getting ready to take senior pictures. This is what he had to share: “Just do it” – Shia Le Beouf.

After high school, Gabe plans on getting a job and start saving money. His goal is to get his own place very soon. I always love hearing about the seniors I shoot hopes and dreams. They are all so unique.
