Welcome back to my blog today. I am so glad you dropped by. I have been busy with seniors lately and this session does indeed include a recent graduate! Kayley is a member of the class of 2021 from Fort Zumwalt East. It was wonderful getting to hear that she was able to have a “real” graduation where people went in person and she was able to be celebrated by her family while receiving her diploma. Covid has taken so much away this year, but so thankful she got this opportunity that seniors deserve.

Kayley, her brother Armando and parents Tina and Gus joined me for a family session. When I got to our location I was sweating bullets. The sky got VERY dark and I thought for sure it was going to storm. To say I was worried was an understatement. In fact it was so dark, we were unable to shoot at one of my favorite spots in the park. We decided to chance it and I’m so very glad we did. The sky was pretty dark at the beginning of the session and towards the end like magic, it cleared and we had a spectacular sunset! Also it did not rain on us! Hot diggity dog.

I love getting to know my client’s a little more during their session. Some fun facts about this family is that they love to go to estate sales. I bet they have found some amazing things! Gus and Tina have been together now for 22 years and met in high school. What a sweet love story and family they have created. Kayley and Armando are super sweet and fun. Armando just signed up to play football and is very excited to play. He has aspirations of being the quarter back. I have no doubt you will do great things. In fact he teased me and said he already played and was the quarter back. His sister was like wait what. I do believe this showed his genuine smile for the first time during our session.

Enjoy a few snap shots from their family session! As always, thank you for letting me capture this special time in your life. Also congratulations to Kayley as you begin your next adventure in life.
