Hi and welcome to my blog! I have the pleasure of introducing Lacy, Ben and their sweet little lady! Ok so their sweet little girl was not having newborn pics. We tried for over three hours. For being 12 days old, she knew what she liked and more importantly what she did not like. Her likes: she loves being held, loved on by her parents and eating. Not likes: pacifiers, being put down, swaddled, curled, hands touched, furs you know everything that goes into newborn pictures. Mom and dad said she absolutely hates being swaddled and the pacifier. So trying the swaddle, yup she hated it. Gave her a pacifier, yup made a face and spit it out. Would not take it any other opportunity. Goodness girl!

So we decided to do family pics instead. I am a hard core sucker for black and whites. If people wouldn’t mind, I would shoot entire sessions in black and white if I could! They show and capture the raw emotions. Yes she screamed bloody murder during them but they are so special and so gorgeous. Yes they are one gorgeous family!

Lacy and Ben were surprised by their little one’s arrival. She went in for a routine checkup and was immediately sent to the hospital for a C-section. Talk about a surprise. Luckily she had an easy pregnancy (craved caramel apples yum) so that helped. It was such a blessing for them to finally get to hold their little girl. She is a rainbow baby after three miscarriages. She is so gorgeous and so perfect.
