Thanks for stopping by! I am so glad that you are here to check out the Vogel Family. I feel so blessed to have this sweet family in front of my camera again. Just like my previous session on the blog, these kiddos have really grown since I captured them last.

I love my job! It’s wonderful catching up with past clients and seeing how their family is growing and changing. Little Aiden was not really moving so much the last time I saw him and now he is a real mover and shaker at three! Olivia looks so grown up and is now eight and Ethan who has the most stunning eyes and sweetest smile is now 6. Of course mom Sarah and dad Mark have not aged a bit!

This park was the perfect setting for their pictures. As a family they love spending time outside and going for walks together. This park has gorgeous trails and lots of things to do outside. I wish I was more of an outdoorsy kind of gal!

Catching up with the Vogels I learned that Olivia is very creative. She loves art and reading and has taken an interest in riding horses. My daughter Addie loves riding horses too so I love when I get to talk equines with others!! There is just something magical about a girl and her horse. Ethan loves legos and is the master of puzzles. I think he gets his love of puzzles from his mom. Little Aiden is obsessed with lawn mowers and in fact just had a lawn mower themed birthday party. It’s so awesome when kids love non-traditional things and make them their own.

Another fun thing about shooting families is finding out how mom and dad met. I absolutely love Sarah and Mark’s story. They went to college together but didn’t actually meet each other until they studied a summer abroad in Rome. Fun fact, Sarah’s brother had actually met Mark at a college party a year prior to Rome and thought he would be perfect for his little sister but he never saw Mark again until Sarah brought him home from Rome! Sarah said Mark planned a perfect first date in Rome and three years to the date of their first date were married. They recently just celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. What an amazing love story you two have and what a wonderful life you have built together.

Thank you Vogel family for spending your Sunday evening with me and dodging mud and puddles. I was worried we would not get their session in because it had rained for most of the day but luckily we were able to. Just no sitting on the ground!
