Welcome to my blog! I am so glad that you are here. Today I have baby Lucius on the blog. Lucious has quite the strong name. In fact he was named after a character in the movie Gladiator. His older brother, Maximus is also named after a character from the movie Gladiator as well. I can tell these boys are going to have so much fun growing up and playing together. I am not 100% sure how they got their names, but mom did mention that their dad was a cage fighter and that they met at a gym.

Lucious was born at home. He was my second baby (actually back to back babies) that was born at home. I admire momma’s who go natural. I personally could not wait for the epidural.

Lucious’ mom was so excited to be pregnant and she was lucky enough to have an easy pregnancy. Lots of iced coffee got her through the nine months. She couldn’t believe how tiny he was when he was born. He was so much smaller than Max! Mom also said that big brother Max LOVES Lucius. He loves to hug and hold him. He is the perfect big brother.

Lucious was not a fan of having his pictures taken. In fact he actually really wanted no part of it. He was more of a please hold me rather than lay me down kind of guy. I definitely got my baby cuddles in during his session and we had to shoot fast. He only let me push the shutter once before he was awake, mad and trying to roll out or off of things. I can honestly say I have never met such a STRONG baby in my life. He definitely lives up to his name.
