Have I got the sweetest little bundle of joy on the blog tonight! Meet Miles Terry. Miles because his parents loved the name and Terry as his middle name as he is named after his grandpa. A perfect name for a perfect cutie pie.

Miles made an appearance when his parents were not quite expecting it. Mom and Dad went in for a weekly prenatal appointment and were sent straight to labor and delivery as Mom’s blood pressure was not where they wanted it. They were unprepared but super excited about meeting Miles!

When asking mom. Brooke, what it was like seeing Miles for the first time she said it was an overwhelming feeling of love and euphoria. She said it was hard to describe but pure joy! There is nothing like it. If your a parent you know the feeling!

Brooke had cravings for SpaghettiOs which is strange because I actually craved those too when I was pregnant with my daughter Addie. When asked if she had a feeling if Miles was going to be a boy or girl, she said no gut feelings but all the Old Wives tales were spot on such as salty cravings, his heart rate and the Chinese Calendar.

Dad, Chris was a rockstar during Brooke’s pregnancy. She had a rough go during her pregnancy with being on watch for Preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, horrible heart burn, high blood pressure, swelling and insane headaches. It’s amazing what a momma will go through for her baby. I’m glad everyone is happy and healthy now. One thing Brooke did love about being pregnant was feeling him move around and his not so gently kicks.

Miles’ nursery is black and cream. He rocked cream for his newborn session! Speaking of his session, here are some snippets from his session! Thank you Brooke and Chris for letting me capture this very exciting time of your life as a new family of three!
