I have the very handsome Luke on the blog tonight for your viewing pleasure. Luke is my nephew and I was so honored to capture his senior pics for him. We had a great time hunting light and textures in downtown Apex. I absolutely love shooting in new spots and we literally shot till there was not an ounce of light left!

We shot at a site that had old buildings from the Civil War while other parts looked like an episode of Hoarders but I love how Luke was up for anything!

Luke had his dog Thunder join us for some pics too. Thunder is by far the best dog I have photographed. He loved the camera, sat and smiled. He literally looked at me the whole time.

Luke is your typical teen who loves his truck so that was fun incorporating his truck into his session as well as spots in his neighborhood.

It was also fun to catch up with our family. It has been soooo long. It’s so hard when we live so far apart! It was a whirlwind trip and we almost traveled longer than we were there but it was totally worth it! I will say traveling nowadays is a whole new experience,

Luke has guinea pigs and I thought we were going to have to sneak them out of my daughter’s suitcase. She was definitely in love with her new piggy friends. Luckily we have managed to escape getting our own!
